MACRI Pavilion at National IP Day 09 Expo

Dear MACRIANS,
I am pleased to inform you that once again we have been invited to support the National Intellectual Property Day by showcasing the innovations and IP assets of our Members. MACRI has been allocated a sizeable pavilion to showcase innovations of our members and also to promote the spirit of creativity & innovations. The exhibition this year will be held from 23 to 26 April 2009 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The Innovators Affairs Committee is coordinating MACRI’s pavilion and I would like to invite all members with innovative products to exhibits with us collectively. We will select between 10 to 12 exhibits that meet the following criteria:

1. The applicant must be a members of MACRI. If not, he /she should apply to be a member before the exhibition.

2. The exhibit must be an original innovations/ invention created by the applicant.

3. It should have some form of IP protection ( Patent, Copyright, Industrial Design, Trademark, etc.)

4. Exhibits with commercial potential – i.e. available in the market, or ready to be launched will be given priority.

Condition:

1. Innovators Affairs Committee’s selection of the exhibit is final

2. Each exhibition will be provided two panels ( 1m x 2.4m x 2 units), a table and an electrical socket outlet.

3. Exhibits must be displayed the National IP Day 09 Expo from 23 to 26 April.

4. Contribution of RM250.00 per exhibitor shall be payable to MACRI.
