Let’s Celebrate Creativity and Innovation!

Children, youth and adults – everyone who would like to benefit from learning about Creativity and Innovation are welcome to join the week-long celebration. Come and be inspired. Come and see how your creative spirit can be unleashed.

Every year on 21st April the Creativity and Innovation Day is celebrated around the world in 106 communities in 46 countries. It is a celebration of the unlimited creative potential in all of us. Its goal is to raise awareness of the opportunity to unleash creativity from within – within ourselves, our families, our communities, workplaces, our country and our world.

This year, in line with this global initiative, the Malaysian Association of Creativity & Innovation (MACRI) is pleased to announce the Creativity & Innovation Week, beginning from 15th April, which coincides with the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci, until 21st April. In organizing this special event, MACRI is proud to collaborate with the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, as well as Pusat Sains Negara as host. The event is also supported by many other organizations.

The 1st Creativity & Innovation Week was organized by MACRI last year, which was launched by YB Datuk Dr. Maximus Ongkili, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response from so many parties, this event has become an annual affair, attracting participation from the government, the private sector, from learning institutions, and also members of the public.
