CWNChong has been in association with the aviation industry for more than 35 years and has spent most of his time in engineering design. He was the person who designed and developed the Boeing B707 aircraft flag pole that carried the first Malaysian flag to fly in the Chinese airport during the second Prime Minister, Tun Abdul Razak bin Haji Dato’ Hussein Al-Haj visits in May 1974. CWNChong also designed the gift box for the then Prime minister that presented to Chairman Mao during the historical visit.
CWNChong is the inventor of the Impact Energy Dissipation Device. Potential commercialized products are commercial aircraft 16g passengers’ seats fittings (http://seatfitting16g.wordpress.com) and the automotive crash management system for vehicles (http://aerodraft.wordpress.com).
